Ilija Jakovljević - EL JAKK

Hi! I'm Ilija Jakovljević, also known as EL JAKK, and I'm a cartoonist from Beška, Serbia.
I don't have any formal art education, but I was greatly inspired by underground comics, manga
and 90s cartoons to start drawing. I've been drawing self-published comics since 2016.
Themes of my comics vary - From bizarre characters having adventures on faraway planets,
to short daily comics about my mundane life.
In 2021, I participated in a cross-residency program between
Serbia and France for comic book artists with my comic "Big Rock Energy".
